Performance Over 12 Weeks

I tested the T8 over twelve weeks of regular flatwork schooling, including two dressage clinics. The fit for my horse was excellent with the narrow gullet plate — it cleared the withers well and the panels sat evenly without bridging. A physio check at week six confirmed no pressure points or muscle soreness.

From the rider’s perspective, the deep seat is supportive and gives a lovely feeling of security. It took a few rides to break in slightly, but once it did, the comfort was good. I could sit for an hour without any discomfort.

But for the money, the T8 offers a level of fit and adjustability that most leather saddles at twice the price can’t match. And cleaning it takes about thirty seconds with a damp cloth, which is a genuine luxury.
